Ordered a replacement trough and swapped it out with the rusted component. Since the previous trough rusted, I made sure to spray on a thorough coating of clear Rust-o-Leum before installing the new part. No sense in replacing this part again in a few years.
Ran into some minor delays with frost having locked some components down. Had to blow dry until melted in order to remove those pieces. That delayed the work, but otherwise, it was easy work.
