The repair was extremely simple. It will take longer to empty the freezer than to complete the repair. First turn water and power off to fridge to be safe. You will need a #2 phillips and small flat screwdriver. First remove the top tray by popping out the two retainers at the rear of the tray they look like a flat hook. Using a small flat screwdriver just pop and slide the retainer out to the front and lift tray out. Next using a #2 phillips screwdriver remove the two screws at the front of ice maker and gently pull forward away from the two pins that hold the rear of the ice maker in place. Be careful not to damage the water fill tube that hangs down into the ice maker. There will be a wire connector simply depress the retainer hook and unplug the connector. Install in reverse order.
