We were taking the range apart to replace a different part when the screws securing the burner to the maintop completely broke off. Replacing the burner was not that difficult. You should definitely keep track of what screws are being removed and where the go. There are several screw that will need to be removed in order to secure the gas connection. Not difficult, just need some organization and attention!
