My adult son slammed the door and broke the little catch tab off the soap dispenser and the door wouldn’t latch. Since just the catch tab was broken off and since that part is not available separately, I purchased the entire soap dispenser and made my son pay the $100 it cost for the part and shipping. Since I am very mechanically inclined, I replaced the soap dispenser by removing the perimeter torx screws on the door and the 6 screws on the soap dispenser to remove & replace it. Pretty simple job. Only one electrical plug & six 5mm screws. The torx type screws holding the dishwasher door together to access the inside of the door was simple. I used my Milwaukee cordless M12 1/4” ratchet and the 5mm deep socket. A Torx T15 socket for the door cover screws was what held that together.
