Googled the problem , found a lot of helpful answers they all led to a bad igniter not having enough resistance to open the safty gas valve and allowing the gas to turn on . I looked on line at a number of sites for the best price and oem fit . and I must say APPLIANCE PARTS PROS had them all beat , price and exact fit . no adapting or modifing , ..i live a littlt south of BOSTON part was there in 2 days , no extra shipping cost . they have my buisness . very satisfied .
