Plug the range back in and see if the light went out. If not, repeat process with each burner until the indicator light goes out. Once you know which burner is causing the Indicator Light to stay on, remove the dial on the front for that burner, remove the two screws allowing you to remove that switch. Install the new switch, replace the two front screws, reconnect the wires and plug range back in. Wallah! It worked. Now the Indicator Light is on only when a burner is being used, as it should be.
