I looked on YouTube and found a video from appliancepartspros.com that described what causes the "te error". It turned out to be the thermister. I ordered the $6 ($12 including shipping) part from appliancepartspros.com and received it in two days. I watched the same installation video on YouTube and was able to replace the part in less than a 1/2 hr. This was one of the easiest DIY fixes that I've done. I highly recommend appliancepartspros and will definitely use them in the future in regards to fixing my appliances.
