I was able to find a video which showed how to locate and repair the problem. It was a bear to get my wrenches into the spot to work, but it was worth the savings to do it myself. I tested the new fuse before installing it and the dryer is working well now. I'm over 70 and not the most agile, so if I can do it anybody can.
