I chose to replace both parts so I wouldn't have to go back into the freezer. I used only a screw driver, pliers and the gas lighter to heat the wire connector sleeves. I watched the available do it yourself videos and was done in less than 30 minutes. It has worked perfectly since. No more Ice build up in the freezer.
