I am not exactly a handyman but I thought I would at least give it a try before calling an appliance repair man. Following the instructions it went pretty well. Great feeling hearing the unit start running again when I plugged it in after installing kit.
My only recommendation would be to suggest that you wear gloves. You have to get inside the unit to move wiring and all the edges of brackets inside the cooler are razor sharp. I got a couple of nice nicks on my hands.
