Watched video, put seal outside in sun to relax. removed refrigerator door removed the old seal and replaced with a new one. One thing to check is whether or not the old seal goes under the door liner or not. On my Maytag model, it turns out the seal resides in a groove in the door liner so I did not need to remove the door or use a putty knife to push aside any foam on the interior of the door or use any tools to insert the new seal. I could have easily left the door on the refrigerator and attached the new seal in a few minutes. With the door off I did get a chance to lube the upper and lower hinges with silicone grease so not a total waste of time. The part from Appliance Parts Pro arrived early and fit perfectly!
