Ordered turntable motor- arrived promptly. Unplugged the electrical cord to microwave. Opened microwave & removed glass tray. Removed 6 screws from bottom of microwave. Took pictures with cellphone so I knew how everything should go back together. Disconnected the plug on longer wiring leading from bottom cover to back of microwave. Unplugged connector from side of turntable motor . Removed one screw holding motor onto microwave. Opened microwave door and removed small 3 prong plastic tray holder from center of microwave by pulling it up and taking out. Removed turntable motor by turning slightly to move metal tab on motor out of slot for metal tab. Placed new motor shaft into hole; looked inside microwave to see shaft and examine how flat part of shaft lined up with inside of plastic tray holder; put plastic glass tray holder on shaft; turned new motor slightly so metal tab went into slot, replaced screw; plugged connector into side of motor; reconnected plug on wiring leading to back of microwave; replaced 6 screws on bottom of microwave. (Cleaned grease off bottom/underneath microwave while apart) Plugged electrical cord of microwave back in. Tested. Works perfectly. Extremely easy repair.
