John R Carrollton , GA October 11, 2020 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JVM1861SD002 Ge Microwave Jvm1861sd002: Turntable turns but makes a grinding noise. How to replace Door Switch. Replaced the drive motor on my GE above stove microwave. Took about 7 or 8 minutes. Works great with no noise now. Really a bad design on GE's part. Moisture from boiling anything on the range top is the issue with the motor going bad.
