I started by "Googling" the problem. To my surprise there were lots of responses. From that information I found out the problem was the fill valve. Uh oh, I thought it would be hugely expensive, but I was determined to do it myself and save an expensive service call. Some of the responses were YouTube videos that even showed me how to remove the cabinet from the washer and put it back together.. I then was able, with the help of a chat person from AppliancePartsPros.com, to locate the exact part. That was my biggest worry that I couldn't find the part for my 24 year old washer. I gave him the model number off my washer and in a minute he found the part. Two days later I had the part in my hand and installed it and reassembled the washer in less than an hour.
