The first thing I did was found the Model and Serial number for the dryer. Then I did some research on line and found a PDF file of my dryer. I also called a friend who is a seasoned appliance repair man. I told him I thought it might be the igniter or coils? He said the coils should both be replaced. And that it was an easy repair. When I went to the appliancepartsPros site, the tech support gave me the instructions on how to test the coils to see if they were bad. Indeed one of the coils was bad. So I bought the replacement pair and they arrived the very next day. Getting to the inside of the dryer at first looked difficult, because I thought the whole outer cabinet had to be unscrewed from the base. But then I discovered it only takes removing 2 screws to remove the front panel and it gives you complete access to the inside of the unit. This was a very satisfying repair job.
