I am a 70 year old woman who lives alone. My top loading washer was not getting any water. After watching how to replace the water intake valve on YouTube I decided I would attempt this repair on my own. I ordered the replacement part and tackled the job. It was not difficult. I followed the video and completed the repair in about 45 minutes. The most difficult part was getting the cabinet back on. I feel that I saved myself allot of money doing the repair myself.
