Tested the incoming water line for both flow and pressure. Plenty of pressure at the incoming water line. Checked the water line and tank inside the fridge. No clogs that I could detect and not frozen anywhere. Pulled the water inlet valve and disconnected the outlet to the water dispenser. Tested for flow. No water out from the outlet. Figuring that since the common denominator to this problem is the inlet valve, ordered the valve from appliancepartspros.com and installed the part when it was delivered. EUREKA! Not only is there ice at the door now, but ice cubes are also larger in size. I'm a happy boy.
