Tim B Benton , PA February 01, 2021 Water inlet shut off assembly So this is a good one - a tale of outstanding technical and customer support, mingled with some ridiculous shipping fiascoes - read on! I called the tech team, who helped me to correctly diagnose that my constantly running cold water was caused by the shut-off assembly and not the board - great, as that is cheaper. Sincere thanks to the tech people! So I ordered the part, with expedited shipping. Amazingly it arrived the next day! But it was damaged in shipping as the warehouse has just stuffed it into a padded envelope and apparently it was attacked by shipping gorillas in transit! So I called customer service. Very helpful, and simple to remedy with a new piece to be shipped. I asked them to have it shipped packed carefully in a box and they passed that along to the warehouse. Who apparently ignored them and sent me another piece that was inadequately packed. Yes, it arrived broken (there are tiny plastic tabs that keep- the solenoids in place, or at least would if they were not broken! So another call to customer service. Helpful and again I asked for appropriate packaging - again! They tried, but apparently the warehouse ignored them once again, And yes! Broken again! Finally another call to customer support, same story, but again the warehouse ignored the special packing request. They did reimburse the expedited shipping as this was several days after I had placed the order. Somehow this one survived, and it was REALLLY simple to install (inevitable YouTube video helped!). FINALLY - my problem was solved ... actually it was my Mother-in-Law's washing machine. Either way it was fixed. I've used Appliance Parts Pros before and always been happy with their work and will use them again. But I thought some might enjoy the story! 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
