Although I had to purchase the sump to get the required diverter motor shaft seal (it comes factory pressed into the sump), the repair worker perfectly. I received genuine Whirlpool brand replacement parts one day ahead of the scheduled delivery date. ??
- Since you have to remove the circulation pump from the old sump, I also replaced the gasket for it (motor to sump seal)
- You also need to remove and replace one of the two factory crimped hose clamps at the circulation pump. It’s a narrow clamp, best purchased from Appliance Parts Pros or a local motorcycle shop, as automotive type clamps are too wide for a proper fit
