Eric S Oakdale , PA January 25, 2015 Appliance: General Electric General Electric GTWN4250M1WS Ge Washer Gtwn4250m1ws / : Water leakage during tub filling. How to replace Funnel Shower Head. Replaced the funnel shower head (plastic nozzle that directs water into the tub). It was severely cracked due to a cross country move resulting in a water spray under the top of the washer and almost into the electronic circuit board. Unknown to me, as I was not the original owner, there is a shipping bar (long ago discarded) that locks the spring-suspended tub in position and prevents it from bouncing around during shipment. Without it in place, the tub bounced around enough during the move to hit and crack the nozzle. Easy repair, just take your time and use common sense. Note: There is an instruction sheet placed inside the electronics panel that provides instructions on how to diagnose trouble codes and place the washer into "test mode" to check operation of each major component/system. A schematic is also provided just in case you are unsure of connector placement. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
