How to replace Tank. Tried to first seal it, but the seal was not working, so I had to order a new part. The water tank is very simple to replace (lots of videos online). Only needs a screwdriver really, but you need access to the front and back of the frig. An electric screwdriver helps because there are a lot of screws, but you need to be careful when screwing things back to make sure you don't destroy threads by screwing too fast/hard. Procedure (my Bosch one was similar to this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVAGWrrVOOY, but not exactly the same): 1) Turn off the water surely and unplug the frig. 2) Take off front bottom plate and backplate to expose the tubes from the tank, and remove the drawer in front of the tank. 3) Make sure you have a couple of large bowls/containers to collect water currently in the tank 4) Unscrew the tank from the back of the frig 5) Remove the front tube from connector (need to push the connector ring down to release) and immediately insert a tube in the bowl to collect water. Remove the tube from any support brackets; you might need to unscrew them. 6) Repeat for the rear tube (you might need to unscrew a small retainer to have better access) 7) Lift the tank a bit to help to drain. You don't need all the water drained, but you need enough. 8) Keep the tank with the tube connections on the top, and pull the tubes out. Make sure to mark and know which tube goes to which hole in the back of the frig. 9) Push the new tubes through the holes from inside the fridge until they come out the other side. Keep pushing or pull from the other side until the tubes have gone through the holes, but don't pull further. 10) Screw the tank in place. 11) Connect the new tubes to the connectors, front and back, and mount them on the mounting brackets. Screw back anything you have unscrewed in the process to help you with access. 12) Screw back front and back covers. Reinstall the drawer. 13) Enjoy leak-free water! (I kept a piece of paper towel in the front an back, where the tubes were connected, for a day, to make sure I had no further leaks) 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
