Turned off water supply, removed hoses from washing machine. Unplugged power cord. Removed four torx screws from control panel and tilted front of it forward. Disconnected wiring harness, removed two hex head screws, and removed old valve. Installation is reverse of removal. Checked for water leaks at hose connections and ran through wash cycle. Took care of the problem.
