I first had to find the correct part number. I have a Kenmore dishwasher but the replacement kit was manufactured by Whirlpool, so I was nervous about ordering the proper part. The kit I bought had "upgraded" components, which, to me, meant they did not look exactly like the one I was replacing.
I watched several video tutorials on how to replace the adjusters. None of the adjusters looked exactly like the one I was replacing, but they were close enough to let me proceed. I wrote down the replacement sequence step by step.
The replacement turned out to be very straightforward. Even the new parts that did not look quite like the ones I was removing fit into place without difficulty. It was a success!
