I ordered two new drum support roller wheels to replace the ones that showed damage, a new belt, and a new idler pulley for the belt. The design of the LG dryer - sort of like a piece of IKEA furniture - makes it easy to take apart and service. There are plenty of good videos on YouTube showing how to fix this problem. It's really important to clean out every part of the dryer when you have it open to prevent fires and improve efficiency, even if this adds to the project length.
