I figured out what the problem was by doing some research on the Whirlpool washer manual and YouTube. Once I knew what part I needed, (water inlet valve) I ordered it from APP.com. The part arrived sooner than I expected. I also received a separate email with a helpful step by step video. It was extremely easy and fast to replace and repair, about 10-15 minutes.
