Removed freezer door and tubs, then piped plastic covers off of panel to remove it. It was completely frozen over behind the panel where the defrost thermostat was located in the upper right corner. I cut the two wires brown and orange that go to the thermostat. Unsnapped the clip and removed to replace the new one. Stripped the wires back just about. 1/8 of a inch so you can twist them together and place wire nuts over the stripped wire making sure you turn them enough to be secure. I put some electrical tape on also. Now just waiting to see if this fixed it. It appears to be doing good at this time. Note I had to use a hairdryer to defrost if you want to fix it quicker. Before you do anything make sure the refrigerator is unplugged. You can do a continuity test on parts. I didn’t have the tool so taking a chance on it being fixed.
