My Whirlpool electric oven wouldn't heat up at all after running the "self-cleaning" mode. I had read that other ovens quit working after self-cleaning and it was often the "Thermal Overload" that had gone out, so I ordered one off AppliancePartsPros.com. It arrived in 2 days. I killed the breaker, removed the screws holding the oven into the cabinet, pulled the over out, removed the flimsy cover off the back, unhooked the leads going into the Thermal Overload, took off the "bad" one, screwed in the new one, hooked the wires back into the part. Put the oven back in the wall, flipped the breaker, and VOILA, it worked!!
