Donald K Calverton , NY March 17, 2018 Appliance: Model JHP67G-D3 Surface burner switch broken GE did away with the original switch and made a poor quality replacement switch with plastic adapters.The adapters break off very easy so had to replace with new switch and plastic adapter. Cut wiring on old socket, modified the hanging bracket on the new socket (it was designed for a different mounting method), spliced the socket wires, mounted the new, modified, socket on the stove and installed the new burner element.
