Description

This drain tube cap seals the refrigerator defrost drain opening to help direct meltwater into the drain system and keep debris and odors out. A simple replacement that restores proper drainage and reduces leaks or pooling. What it does:

• Seals the defrost/drain tube opening to prevent water from escaping into the cabinet
• Helps keep food particles and debris out of the drain to reduce clogs
• Directs meltwater into the drain channel for normal defrost drainage
• Can reduce odors by blocking air flow through a compromised drain opening

What's included: One drain tube cap. Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing.
• If the drain area is frozen, defrost and clear obstructions before installing the cap.
• Remove the old cap and press the new cap firmly into the drain tube until seated; do not force with excessive tools.
• After installation, test by pouring a small amount of water into the drain area to ensure proper fit and flow.
