Jose R Miami , FL November 19, 2015 Appliance: Model PSW26PSWASS - GE PROFILE SIDE BY SIDE Fan motor in refrigerator not functioning causing refrigerator to frost up and not cool appropriately This refrigerator has a second evaporator in the fresh food section. This evaporator has a plastic cover assembly (WR17X11915) that includes two fan motors and styrofoam insulation held in place. Unplug refrigerator, wait 2 hours until ice melted, unmount plastic cover assembly on refrigerator side, cut wires of temperature sensor, replace with a new temperature sensor, make sure to keep perfect isolation from humidity on terminal conectors, mount new cover assembly, and that's it, wait 24 hr to have appropiate temperature.
