Thomas G Buffalo , NY January 17, 2016 Appliance: Model GE WASHER ( ONLY 3 YRS OLD) DID NOT KEEP NUMBER Water was coming out the front bottom of the machine but only when the machine was on rinse cycle I tilted the machine towards the back, and tried to see where the water was coming from. I was not able to find the source of the water leak, because water was everywhere. Next step was to take the top of the machine off. He did not make it easy. There are two screws at the rear bottom of the top console. But there are a lot of things that have to be taken off to gain access to the screws. After I got the top raised, I discovered that one of the hose connections going to the fabric softener dispenser had broken off. I questoned the owner and she said that her daughter had washed pillows in the machine the day before the water leak started. I told her that the tub probably went out of balance very badly. This would explain the broken connection at the fabric softener dispenser. Appliance parts pros had the part in stock. The owner was very pleased that we were able to get the machine repaired quickly and and for a great price.
