Steve A Trophy Club , TX February 08, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Washer GFWS3605L0MS Water was slowly leaking into the tub with the machine turned off I replaced the water inlet valve. Apparently, the hard water in my house slowly deposits crud around the valves such at over time, the valve seals quit forming a tight seal when closing. This allows water to slowly leak through, even with the machine off. I removed the top of the washer, disconnected hoses and wires and replaced the valve in fairly short order.
