I ordered a replacement fan and removed the old one and installed the new one. The job took only an hour because I had replaced the cook top a few months ago and know how to remove most of the parts to get to the fan. The biggest tip I can give is not to force anything. You need to be gentle with dis-assembly and re-assembly.
