Replaced the thermal limit switch and blower. The blower had been getting noisy lately and was most likely the cause of the limit switch blowing. Upon removal of the blower it was very stiff when turning by hand. Easy to change the blower - disconnect the power, open the back of the range and three Phillips screws hold the blower in place. The motor hummed but the fan didn't turn. Clearly the brushes were burned out. I ordered a new fan, although I had to talk to a human at ApplianceParts because my model was not listed. The part was a perfect fit. The only problem is determining how to remove the over to reach the back, no instructions anywhere online. But trial and error eventually worked. I opened up the microwave where the noise was coming from. I searched the web to confirm this part could be failing and found the part name and number on appliancepartspros.com. I ordered the part on Monday and it was in my mailbox 2 days later. Two screws and two wire connectors later and the old one was out. I took the advice of another buyer and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode from my microwave (make sure you discharge the capacitor). It was not a problem at all to do, I did find an excellent video on YouTube on how to test all of these components and almost anything else in a microwave. Ordered fan assembly. Not difficult to install at all. Remove the back cover, remove the fan cover inside the oven, remove the motor/fan assembly and put it all together. Easy. Read more

Ordered the new motor and upon arrival, installed it. The only concern I had was that the motor I ordered was not specified for this model (Panasonic), but for a General Electric. (I could not locate one specified for the model I had). However, the specs for the new GE motor were exactly the same, so I took a chance and as it turned out, worked out well. Read more

Replaced the upper door microswitch which was stuck in. Easy to identify even without a meter. Needed a special secure bit for screws on back. Hardest part was probably removing the oven from cabinet mount. Read more

First I cleaned out the pressure switch line that allows the motor to kick into gear when the water level is low enough to start the spin cycle.
