Description

This out-of-balance micro switch is the load-sensing switch that tells the washer when a tub is unbalanced so the control can pause or redistribute the load, helping prevent excessive vibration and damage during spin cycles. What it does:

• Detects excessive tub movement or imbalance and signals the washer control to stop or adjust the spin cycle
• Helps prevent noisy, vibrating, or shifting loads from continuing to spin
• Can cause the washer to stop mid-cycle or fail to enter high-speed spin when faulty
• Works as the electrical contact that completes or interrupts the control circuit based on tub position
