Francene G Fort Myers , FL November 11, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Microwave JVM1540DM5WW Over the stove microwave would not heat (only 2 years old) I goggled why my microwave would not heat and found an article on Appliance pros of 3 possibilities. 2 easy to fix..so I started with the first one which was the door switches. Followed the instructions and found the switches,removed them, brought them to my local Ace hardware to check connectivity. 2 of the 3 switches where bad. Came home and ordered the parts from Appliance Pro on Wednesday and had a working microwave on Friday. Thank you to Appliance Pro!!! Saved me $400.00 for a new microwave. I am a 51 year old female who doesn't do this sort of thing on a daily basis. Broke the table on the mounting bracket, but it fixed the microwave. Because of the great price and fast shipping, ordered a new bracket and replaced the other two switches as well, “just in case.” Read More...
