Description

This thermostat sleeve protects and positions the refrigerator temperature-sensing probe so the thermostat can accurately monitor compartment temperature and help the appliance maintain proper cooling. What it does:

• Holds and shields the thermostat probe from direct contact with ice, frost, and moisture
• Helps keep the temperature sensor positioned for accurate temperature readings
• Prevents false temperature readings that can cause the refrigerator to run too long or not cool enough
• Commonly replaced when cracked, split, missing, or allowing probe exposure
