Description

This is a genuine Generac generator replacement carburetor. The carburetor mixes air and gas in the engine to enable it to run. When the engine does not start or if it dies shortly after starting, the carburetor is a good place to start troubleshooting. One way to check is to take the air filter off and pour a small amount of fuel directly into the carburetor. Start the carburetor using the pull rope and watch the engine to see if it runs or dies. If it dies quickly, the carburetor is most likely the problem. Rather than trying to rebuild and repair the carburetor, this genuine Generac replacement is an easy fix that requires little more than a wrench. After the carburetor is accessed, use the wrench to remove the bolts holding it in place. Install the new carburetor and reinstall the bolts. Tighten the bolt snugly but do not over-tighten and strip the bolts.This Generac carburetor is made of high-quality metal.
