Description

This chainsaw ignition module creates an electric charge when the magnets inside of the flywheel move by the ignition module. After the electrical charge is created, it will be sent to the spark plug so fuel can combust inside of the cylinder. The ignition module can become damaged or broken and will need to be replaced. If the chainsaw has issues starting or can't start at all, it might be caused by a failed ignition module.If a replacement is needed, disassemble the chainsaw. The side cover can be removed to access the ignition module. The old one can be removed using a nut driver. The replacement part will be installed in the same area of the chainsaw. After installation, set the air gap to the proper level to ensure the tool offers the best possible performance.
