Description

This is a transmission designed for use with lawn mowers with a self-propel feature. The transmission is used to take power in the engine and move it to the wheels. It also controls the torque to manage the lawn mower's speed based on current conditions. If the transmission is damaged or worn, the pulley may continue spinning while the wheels refuse to turn.Several tools are needed for the replacement, including pliers, a drill, a nut driver, a socket wrench set, and work gloves. First, make sure the spark plug wire is disconnected. Remove the fuel tank cover, place a bag over the opening, and replace the cap. Remove the driver cover before releasing the ground drive belt from the pulley. Release the drive control cable from the post and take off the front wheels. Access and remove the transmission. Install the new part in the same location and reassemble.This is an authentic OEM Husqvarna transmission that is sold on an individual basis.
