Mika T Northfield , MN March 29, 2022 LG clothes processor recently became very loud on spin cycles. Intermittent unbalanced load error. After doing a little research it seemed likely that our 7 year old LG's suspension system was getting old. We're getting very loud sounds on our spin cycle. A lot of start-up of spin and then stopping to rebalance occurring within the machine and intermittent unbalanced load error where the machine stopped the cycle completely to display an error. We replaced all three shock absorbers and the two suspension springs and our washer is back to what seems like better than new. Quieter with successful spin cycles even with large loads of wash. The hardest part was getting the new springs back in place. Thankfully my husband was around after I failed to be strong enough/have enough leverage due to my height to get them back onto their hooks. Read More...
