Richard R Poulsbo , WA January 20, 2017 Appliance: LG Electric Range LRE30755SW Lg stove model# lre30755sw touch pad failure unable to select or power any of the burner elements I started the repair by find my stove model number and searching AppliancePartsPros.com for the necessary part. I was fairly certain that it was the Touch Pad after reading several blogs and fix-it sites. I order the part and it arrived the very next day. I un-boxed the part and made sure it was the same as the old Pad, it was. I started by unplugging the stove. I then removed the entire back panel from the stove. I thought I could do it by just removing the top panel but that didn't work. I kept all the panel screws separate from interior screws as they were different in size.I took my digital camera and shot several pictures of the wiring harness and all the plug locations on the board. I unplugged all the connectors and unscrewed and removed the board from the top panel hanger. Then I unscrewed and removed the Touch Pad. After a thorough cleaning I reversed the order of disassembly and reassemble the stove. When I plugged it in if fired right up. I reset the clock and made sure all the burners and the stove worked properly. All in all it was not too difficult. I score it a 3 out of 5 wrenches. To be fair I am not a repairman.
