By process of elimination I concluded that the condenser was working fine since the freezer seemed to work fine. However, there was a noise coming from the condenser fan motor as well. Replaced the thermal limit switch and blower. The blower had been getting noisy lately and was most likely the cause of the limit switch blowing. It's always a tough decision on how much time and money to spend on an older $500 appliance. Besides fixing things being in my nature, Appliance Parts policy of allowing returns for any reason made the decision a lot easier.
