For Bosch Door Boot Gasket (Part Number: OEM12973368)

Rich for Model Number WFMC3200UC 12216363

Hello, I have a Bosch washer and would like to replace the boot. It appears the sticker that had the model and serial number on it has disappeared from the front of the machine. I was able to locate a barcode that came in my purchase paperwork that has the model number on it. It is WFMC3200UC 12216363. Also on the barcode was the following number: 855020082663035551. Can you tell me what boot I need based on those numbers? Thanks, Rich

Larue for Model Number WFMC640SUC15511491

That model number is directly off a white piece of paper we found when we took off the top. There's a video on newer models and it looks soooo darn easy but ours is older. I don't understand from the repair manual you sent if we have to take the entire front panel off, the door, what, could you please explain. We have take 2 longer screws of where the door sort of locks shut and 5 screws from around the opening. Another concern is that you sent 2 stretchy metal bands.........does that mean they break easy. I printed 3 pages starting with 29, but am still confused. Any help is sure appreciated, I've got to get my washer back working as economically as I can. Thanks so much, LaRue

Hello LaRue. These are very hard to replace and the unit will need to be disassembled. The bands will need to be replaced if new ones were sent. If the manual does not help you replace the part, you may need a technician due to the difficulty of replacing this part.
