Bob July 31, 2024 for Model Number PLEB30T9FCC I just replaced oven heating element from your parts store (part number 318254906) Oven still will not heat above 380 degrees and took 40 minutes to get to 380. I took floor out and observed element not glowing red consistently all way around. Did I get a defective element? Old element was warped and cracked. Please advise. I still have all the original packaging from your shipment. Thank you, Bob
1 Answer Hello Bob, thank you for contacting APP, This sounds like an issue with either the Control Board 316443911 or the wiring between the control and the element. If you think it may be the element itself you can disconnect the unit from power, disconnect the harness from the element, and test on the terminals of the element for Os resistance with a multimeter. The element should read between 10O and 40O. Read More...

Ken February 28, 2022 for Model Number PLES399ECI Oven won't heat to needed temp. If we set temp to say 375...will heat to about 325-330 ...set temp to 400 will only heat to 350...if fact 350-375 is about as hot as it will get (Sat a temp gauge in oven to confirm) could this be element going out or something else that needs replacing? Thank you for any help??? Ken
1 Answer Ken, It would be recommended to check the oven sensor for a resistance at room temperature of 1080 ohms. Then at 350 degrees of 1654 ohms. If the resistance is good then this will be a faulty control board and if there is not good resistance then this will be a faulty sensor that will need to be replaced. Read More...
Justin July 07, 2020 for Model Number 911.49013993 Thanks for the quick reply! I finally found the correct model number -- it was tucked in along the bottom of the frame near the hinge: 911.49013993. If you can point me to the correct bake element (for the top oven) I'll place the order right away! Thanks, Justin
1 Answer Justin, The part number for the bake element on your upper oven will be WB44T10006. Read More...
Justin July 06, 2020 for Model Number 326B1230P002 Hello, Does this baking element fit a Kenmore Elite Double Oven? It was manufactured in 2000 or 2001. I can't find 326B1230P002 listed on any of the appliance part websites. If you're not certain it will fit please post the dimensions of the element. Thanks, Justin
1 Answer Justin, 326B1230P002 is not a model number, it's most likely the part number for the "tag" you were looking at. Sears/Kenmore model numbers are usually an 11 digit number (123.45678901). You can usually find the model and serial number "tag" on the oven frame, when you open the oven door, without a model number we can't check or verify the correct part needed. The [AP4298966} Bake Element dimensions are approximately 19" X 16"(+/- 1/4") but the important part is the wattage and the number of turns of the bake element, for the proper heat and operation of the oven.
