Sherrie W for Model Number FFGF3053LSJ

Hello, I cracked the inside glass to my oven door. (Water dropped on it while it was hot) I want to make sure that I order the correct part. It is a Frigidaire gas model FFGF3053LSJ . Another # that is on the inside of the door is 316433617B. It was only 1 panel that broke. It looks like that total, there would be 3. The outer, then middle and then the piece that I broke. The glass that is close to the inside of the oven. Can you guide me to the correct piece? Thanks, Sherrie

Hello Gene, I'm sorry but the manufacturer has not provided the dimensions for the glass cooktop. Since it is affixed to the cooktop frame at the factory, no glue is used to install it.

Hello Darlene. Yes, you need to order 318212210. To change the glass in an oven door, you will need to determine how to remove the door on the model number you are working on. If you open the door to the first stopping point, some oven doors will lift off the unit in this position. On other models, you will see clips on the back of the hinge toward the opening where the hinge enters the range. If yours is like this, you will open the door all the way open, then pull the clips down until they stop and lock in place. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the range. If you door does not lift off, and it does not have the clips, then you will open the door all the way open. You will see a hole in the hinge at the bottom of the door. You will insert a pin or nail into that hole and close the door to the stopping point. Then you can lift the door off the unit. Once the door is removed, you will lay it on a soft surface and disassemble the door. Pay attention and make notes if needed for reassembly of the oven door. Once you have replaced the door glass, you will reinstall the oven door back onto the range in reverse order of the way you removed it.

Hello Roy. Remove the screw on each side of control panel. Remove the two screws under the console. Pull down the console. Remove the screw on both side of the console. The control panel can now be flipped to allow reach of the electronic components. Remove the four screws on the front on the burner box (two on both side). Pull up on the entire burner box and in order reach the surface elements, just flip over the burner box. Unscrew the burner box from all sides. Remove the burner box from the glass top.
