Is the grate coated or do I have to season it? Think I might have ruined it by not seasoning before using. I sprayed with pam then grilled pancakes. The pancakes stuck, the pam is on the griddle permanently. Will not come off. No cleaning or seasoning instructions came with it. How do I restore it? Thank you

Hello Carolyn. The griddle is coated. You should be able to clean off the pam spray from the unit. It does not need to be seasoned.

Hello Rpuorto, 316499900 is the closest thing we were able to locate but since we could not find a manufacturers' recommendation, we cannot guarantee this one will fit properly on your unit.

Does the griddle have a nonstick surface? I would not want a griddle with a nonstick surface.

Hello Alan, This griddle is cast iron with a porcelain finish. I'm sorry but this is all of the information the manufacturer has provided on this part. Whether it will fit and operate properly on your unit is unknown since no model number was provided in the post.

My stove looks just like a Frigidaire Gallery range. I need a griddle to replace the middle grate. It should be about 8" by 20" and is curved outward on the long sides. Kenmore does not make one. The salesman said that the model number is 79074333310.
