  • Disconnect the appliance from power before attempting any repair.
  • Allow the element to cool and handle carefully to avoid bending or damaging the coil.
  • Ensure the terminal connections are secure and free of corrosion; tighten or replace fasteners as needed.

Hello Wade, in checking with Frigidaire they have made a modification to the heater connector if the new heater element is replaced and the heater connector does not match the original wire harness connector then the main wire harness needs to be replaced also part 137288900.

Anthony, According to the part picture this should have 2 spade terminals inside the connector. While it is possible that you received a mispackaged part this is the correct part number for your unit.

Don, Unfortunately we do not have the resistance of the heating element but to test the element you will need to check for 120 vac across both of the terminals on the element.

Hello Clifford. The element 137488301 is located on the back of the outer tub assembly, under the spinner assembly. You will see the wires going to the element. Hope this helps.
