The Lint Filter is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. It is designed to trap lint and debris that is generated from clothes during the drying cycle, preventing these particles from clogging the dryer vent and improving overall drying efficiency. The dimensions of the lint filter are approximately 12-3/8 x 2-1/8 inches.

Causes of a bad lint filter can include regular wear and tear from frequent use, damage from sharp objects or heavy items, and clogging due to infrequent cleaning. These factors can lead to the filter becoming less effective or damaged, impacting the dryer's performance.

Symptoms of a bad lint filter include:

  • Visible tears, cracks, or holes in the filter
  • Lint buildup in the dryer drum or vent
  • Reduced drying efficiency or longer drying times
  • Difficulty fitting the filter securely into its housing

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
