John for Model Number FGHD2455LW0

Dishwasher will not run unless we unplug it. Then is says PF (Power Failure). We then restart and it will run thru a cycle or 2. Then the whole thing starts over again. Unplug and run cycles. It is taking longer for it to work between the times when we unplug now. It now takes an hour to reset by unplugging, when it first started doing this it would reset right away when we plugged it back in. The display board works as well as all of the led lights. Before we unplug after a cycle nothing works or lights up until we unplug and start all over again. Then everything works for one cycle. Thanks

Lawanda for Model Number FGHD2455LW0A

ER code flashing after a power surge and the electricity going out in my neighborhood. I reset the breaker to no avail. I've unplugged it for a couple of days too. I was able to reset it at one point, but it started and ran for about 5 minutes and got the error again. Then while pushing buttons to just try to get it to do something it started putting random numbers on the display screen. Now back to error again. Control panel?? Part number, please. Thanks!!!

Lawanda, The manufacturer says that error is for a switch failure meaning your user interface probably has a short in the membrane. Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't provide a key chart to test the user interface. Without being able to rule out for sure the interface or main control it could be either one. 5304480721 is the control and 5304480722 is the interface.

Mark, You will want to make sure that door switches are good on the unit and if they check ok then this will most likely be a faulty control panel on the unit.

Wade, This issue would be caused by a faulty control panel which has a key stuck and would be part number. This would require the control panel to be replaced.

Warren, You will want to check to see if there is power getting to the pump in the wash cycle. If it is not then the issue may be that the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Hello Joe. Check all the wiring and if it looks good, then you will need to order and replace the main board on the unit.

Hello Janice, The issues with the heating circuit can be caused by the heater, the heater thermostat, the neutral door switch, or the control. You should also make sure the unit is secured properly under the countertop. If it is not secure and can move around, it may not be making the door switch properly for normal operation to occur.

Hello Dennis. You will need to check for a stuck button. Also, check and see if the unit will unlock. If not, replace the touch pad.
